at St. George's
The Sacrament of Holy Baptism is administered on the 3rd Sunday at 12 noon (at least two Sundays notice to be given). Those seeking Churching, Baptism, Thanksgiving for the Birth of a Child, the Laying on of Hands. and/or Anointing in Sickness (the Holy Oils are available at all times for the Anointing of the sick) and other enquiries are asked to telephone the Clergy.
Preparation for Confirmation normally takes place annually - enquiries very welcome.
The clergy are available for private discussion and assistance with personal problems and for Confession or spiritual counsel, either at the vicarage or in Church, or in the home, at any convenient time.
If you would like a visit from the clergy please give them your name and address. For those who are sick or housebound they will count it a privilege to bring the Blessed Sacrament of the Holy Communion to them, in their homes, at any time, day or night.
WORSHIP - Worship in our Parish centres on the HOLY EUCHARIST, at which all members meet together to offer themselves to God, and to draw strength for their daily lives.
